Cette excursion est un excellent moyen de découvrir le meilleur de la culture et du patrimoine bulgares. Avec une visite de l'ancienne Byala, une balade fluviale, un après-midi de folklore et le plaisir de la compagnie des mamies du village de Solnik, c'est une journée pleine de surprises qui vous attend. Ivan, l'un de nos guides locaux experts, dit : "Solnik est un village de montagne typique, mais la maison de Mamie Radka est tout sauf typique, c'est comme un mini-musée. Elle a des expositions de costumes et de textiles traditionnels sur tous les murs, dont la plupart ont été fabriqués par Mamie Radka elle-même."

Le programme des visites commence par la ville balnéaire de Byala, sur le cap St Atanas. Vous découvrez son long passé remontant à l'époque byzantine en vous promenant dans la région. Vous verrez d'anciens équipements de poterie, une cave partiellement restaurée et la basilique. À Byala, admirer la vue imprenable sur la mer depuis le sommet des falaises fait partie de l'expérience. Nous nous dirigerons ensuite vers Kamchiya pour prendre le bateau pour une balade de 25 minutes le long de la rivière. Profitez de la beauté de la campagne bulgare qui défile.

Notre dernier arrêt sera au village pittoresque de Solnik, où nous visiterons la maison de Granny Radka. Vous serez invité à jeter un coup d'œil à l'étalage de vêtements typiques de la région, à essayer de la liqueur de rose locale et à un délicieux déjeuner composé de plats de la région, fraîchement préparés avec des ingrédients locaux. Pour terminer, vous vous verrez immergé dans le folklore bulgare lors d'un spectacle de chants et de danses par les anciens du village vêtus du costume traditionnel.

This tour is a great way to get to know the best of Bulgarian culture and heritage. With a visit to ancient Byala, a riverboat trip and an afternoon of folklore and fun with the grannies of Solnik village, you'll experience a lot during your day out. Ivan, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘Solnik is a typical mountain village, but Granny Radka's house is anything but typical – it's like a mini-museum. She has displays of traditional costumes and textiles all over the walls, most of which were made by Granny Radka herself.'Kick off in the seaside town of Byala, on Cape St Atanas. Discover its rich history dating back to the Byzantine era as you walk through the area. You'll see ancient pottery making equipment, a partially restored winery and the basilica. Soaking up the expansive sea view from the top of the cliffs is all part of the Byala experience. Next, we will head to Kamchiya for a 25-minute boat trip along the river to enjoy the beauty of the Bulgarian countryside.Your final stop will be at the quaint village of Solnik, where we'll visit Granny Radka's house. You'll be invited to take a look at the display of typical clothes, try some local rose liqueur and tuck into a tasty lunch of dishes from the region, freshly prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Then you'll be immersed in Bulgarian folklore when you watch a song and dance performance by the village elders dressed in the traditional costume.

Varna Tour from Obzor

Visit Varna for a shopping trip and a panoramic tour of the old town. You'll see all the city's top attractions and visit the multi-domed Dormition of the Mother of God Cathedral as well as enjoy some free time to browse the shops in the Delta Planet Mall. We'll then drive northwards to Varna, with a photo stop at Galata on the Black Sea coast. Then it's on to the Delta Planet Mall, where you have free time to browse a large variety of shops in this modern shopping centre.You'll head then to the old town, and after exploring the Dormition of the Mother of God Cathedral, and a short sightseeing bus tour, you'll enjoy some free time to discover the city for yourself.

Pirate Boat Cruise from Varna

Blackbeard, Barbarossa and Jack Sparrow can eat their hearts out – the real pirate adventures are here in Varna. Enjoy a morning sail of high jinks on the high seas aboard a pirate-themed ship, with a snack and open bar included.You'll join our crew in search of the booty, and along the way everyone will get into the pirate spirit with some help from the pirate team on the boat. Sozopol Guided Tour by Fast Ferry from Obzor

A treasure trove of ancient towns, historic harbours and natural scenery, Bulgaria's Black Sea coast is well worth exploring. For culture, shopping and gastronomy, this trip to Sozopol by fast ferry is just the ticket. Departing from Obzor, you'll transfer to Nessebar from where the ferry whisks you to explore ancient Sozopol. After an hour's cruise on the high-speed passenger catamaran Seacat One you'll be docking in Sozopol. On the ferry there is a bar serving coffee, tea, soft drinks and beer, at your own expense.Arriving in Sozopol, you'll have time for a guided tour and a tasting of regional Bulgarian wines before heading for an optional, traditional lunch at a local restaurant.
