A treasure trove of ancient towns, historic harbours and natural scenery, Bulgaria's Black Sea coast is well worth exploring. For culture, shopping and gastronomy, this trip to Sozopol by fast ferry is just the ticket. Departing from Obzor, you'll transfer to Nessebar from where the ferry whisks you to explore ancient Sozopol.

After an hour's cruise on the high-speed passenger catamaran Seacat One you'll be docking in Sozopol. On the ferry there is a bar serving coffee, tea, soft drinks and beer, at your own expense.

Arriving in Sozopol, you'll have time for a guided tour and a tasting of regional Bulgarian wines before heading for an optional, traditional lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, make the most of the free time to explore at your own pace and perhaps browse the shops and markets. Return from Sozopol to Nessebar by fast ferry in the late afternoon, and continue to Obzor by coach.

    The driver arrived on time but drove like he was in Formula 1. The number of times we drove on the UK side of the road around corners on mountain roads from and to Obzor was beyond. There was no safety. Boarding and unboarding on the ferry was a free for all. The staff on the ship did their best, but once the german group arrived the pushing, shoving and jockeying to be first on board, also left a lot to be desired. The guide was polite and informed. But overall we left the group to explore.

    Hotel czysty, obsługa miła. W recepcji mówią po rosyjsku i angielsku.Plaża czysta, sprzątana co kilka dni.Jedzenie trochę monotonne.Dużo miejscowych potraw np. zupa ze żwacza albo wieprzowiny w postaci suszonych kawałków.Sałatka szopska, ale brak wędlin oprócz salami i mortadeli.
