This is your chance to set eyes on a living national monument – the drago milenario, or millennial dragon tree. It's one of the oldest living species in the world, and you can take a closer look at the Millenial Dragon Tree Park, which comes complete with a sustainable garden to stroll around, picnic area and views over Teide all around.Believed to be over 800 years old, the drago milenario tree deserves all the attention it gets. There are lots of theories surrounding origin and age of the Pyramids of Güímar, which you'll get to see up close when you visit. Choose from different entry options, which can include the Poison Garden, exhibitions, museum, auditorium and outdoor routes.Founded by Norwegian researcher Thor Heyerdahl, the Pyramids of Güímar and Botanical Garden are a sight to behold. Six pyramids, made entirely of lava stone, still stand among exhibits and gardens.
