Geführte Besichtigung des Zitronenhains Il Pizzo Garden mit Verkostung

Führung durch einen wunderschönen Zitronenhain. Man lernt sehr viel über die sorrenter Agrikultur. Man hat die Möglichkeit ein aktiv bewirtschaftetes Unternehmen zu besichtigen, dass noch nach alten techniken arbeitet. Man kann verschiedene Zitronenarten kennenlernen. Die Verköstigung fällt leider mager aus. Diese bestand aus 1 Glas Limoncello, Zitronenlimonade und Crostini mit Marmelade. Hatten uns mehr erhofft. Die Aussicht entschädigt dafür. Tipp: man kann auch einen Kochkurs buchen.

We were met at the gate of a family run lemon farm by a wonderful guide who took us into the lemon groves. We heard about the history of lemon agriculture in Sorrento and walked through gardens to a beautiful cliff top with a magnificent view along the coast. So beautiful and if that was not enough she took us to a shaded garden area which was beautifully set up ,to drink homemade lemonade, try some marmalades and of courdse limoncello. A small group and absolutely perfect.

What a wonderful time we had! A lovely tour which ended up being a private one as we were the only two people there. I loved learning about the lemon grove and the history behind growing lemons in Sorrento. Beautiful views, refreshing lemonade and delicious lemon and orange marmalade. The limoncello was very strong! Highly recommend this experience.

The Lemon Grove is a peaceful Garden of Eden, away from the noise and bustle of Sorrento, and with spectacular views over the Bay of Naples. Monica was really knowledgeable and friendly about the Grove, it's history and the farming techniques. The flowers around the groves are spectacular, and we enjoyed lovely biscotti with orange and lemon marmalade, homemade lemonade, and limoncello.

This was a wonderful tour! We were fortunate enough to be the only ones booked in our slot so had a private tour with our guide. She was friendly, informative and had a clear passion about the grove and how it worked. We learnt a lot! The tasting at the end was lovely and we were glad there was a shop back in Sorrento town to buy some of the products from the grove! Would definitely recommend this tour!
