Beschreibung

Das Inland Anatoliens und das Taurusgebirge sind Paradiese für Naturliebhaber. Diese Ganztagestour beinhaltet eine Geländewagenfahrt, eine Wanderung durch die Adler Schlucht sowie Besuche im "Grünen Kappadokien" und dem antiken Selge.

Zunächst fahren Sie nach Beskonak und lernen, Ihren eigenen klimatisierten Geländewagen zu fahren. Nach einer kurzen Probefahrt geht es los, über Pisten und Pfade tief in die Adler Schlucht hinein. Genießen Sie die Natur bei einem Spaziergang an diesem idyllischen Ort, bevor Sie an der Grenze zum Koprulu-Nationalpark entlangfahren und unterwegs an Aussichtspunkten anhalten.

Nach einem herzhaften Mittagessen erkunden Sie die Ruinen der antiken Stadt Selge und ihr Amphitheater, besichtigen die nahe gelegenen, grün bewachsenen Felsformationen, die von den Einheimischen als "Grünes Kappadokien" bezeichnet werden und machen Halt an der antiken Oluk Brücke. In den Sommermonaten haben Sie sogar Gelegenheit für eine kurze Rafting Tour auf dem Fluss Euromedon.

Narin, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘Oymapinar Dam Lake is one of the largest reservoirs in Turkey, covering an area of approximately 19 square kilometres. The lake is fed by the Manavgat River, which flows south from the Taurus Mountains and eventually empties into the Mediterranean Sea at Side.' Your tour starts with a spot of shopping at Dickman Textile Centre. If fashion is your thing, then you're in luck as you can enjoy a stress-free browse for clothing and accessories from leading brands. Next, we'll head to a riverside restaurant for a freshly prepared meal made with locally sourced ingredients. Afterwards it's all aboard, ready for a cruise down the canyon waterway. Spectacularly rugged rock formations tower around you and the river, in shades of turquoise and green, snakes away into the distance. It's a tranquil slice of Turkish natural beauty and the colour of the water is spellbinding. You'll cruise the canyon, admiring the views, before the boat slows - you'll be able to swim in these wild surroundings once the boat reaches the Oymapinar Lake.

Pirate Boat Cruise from Manavgat

All aboard this Manavgat river cruise for a family-friendly day out on the waves. All dark wood and sturdy sails, it's every bit the authentic pirate ship. Accompanied by a crew of Jack Sparrow-style sailors, we'll cast off down the River Manavgat. The kids will be busy learning pirate language and having their faces painted by the entertainment team, while adults can sit back and sip on a refreshing drink from the bar. Muzaffer, one of our expert guides, says, ‘Pamukkale is like something out of a fairytale – a spectacle of terraces formed over thousands of years that look like a cascading snowy waterfall. Legend has it, the hot thermal springs here have healing properties.'Leaving Antalya early in the morning, you'll arrive at Lake Salda after a few hours' scenic drive. It's been compared to the Maldives for its long white beaches and multi-toned blue waters. You'll have free time to take some photos of this otherworldly spot. Then we'll continue to Pamukkale for lunch. Afterwards, admire the bright white calcite terraces – they look like icy stalactites dripping from pools of sky-blue water.At the top of these travertines is Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A tale of two cities, Alanya is a true mix of the old and the new. It's a bustling resort that's home to a medieval castle and picturesque old town, where you'll have free time to explore. To top it off, there are visits to the Damlatas Caves and a shop where gourds are crafted into decorative lamps. Our expert local guide, Aylin, says “this tour factors in lots of different topics, so everyone will find something to catch their attention regardless of their interests. Plus, Turkish culture's on show almost the entire time, so you'll be like an expert on Turkey by the end of the tour.”With this winter tour, you'll start the day at the Damlatas Caves. Filled with stalagmites and stalactites, the cylindrical chamber within is said to cure asthma – that's not a cue to leave your inhaler at home, though. Next up is Seljuk Castle. Topping a headland jutting into the Mediterranean, it was built in the 13th century on the remnants of Roman and Byzantine castles. You'll glide up in a cable car and to check out its watchtower-studded battlements and peer through the holes from where hot oil was poured onto enemies when they were trying to invade the area.Then, you'll continue on to a craft shop where gourds are carefully carved into lamps, with great results. After lunch, the afternoon is yours. Go shopping in Alanya bazaar, relax in a café, or go for a stroll on the gulet-crammed harbour or promenade before it's time to head back to your accommodation.
