Join a guided tour of the Santorini Volcano and the Island of Thirassia with a roundtrip boat transfer.
Depart from Athinios port and reach the volcano of Santorini for a 90-minute visit. Take the chance to walk the volcano’s ridge and learn about its history and geology from your guide. Continue to the hot springs located on the west side of Palea Kameni island. Stop here for 30 minutes at a distance of 30 meters from the shallow waters of Agios Nicholao’s beach. The waters are mixed with mud full of sulfur, iron, and other metals coming from the volcano.
Next, visit the island of Thirassia, a 9-square-kilometer miniature of what Santorini used to be several years ago with only 300 permanent inhabitants. Explore this picturesque traditional village for about 2 hours and take the chance to taste the authentic Santorinian cuisine on your own.
