This vineyard tour puts one of the best known wineries in Samos in the spotlight. Founded in 1976, Vakakis Winery today has expanded to over 30 acres and is run by the second generation of the Vakakis family. They use traditional winemaking methods and modern technology to create high-quality wines that reflect the terroir of Samos. You'll see the vineyards and the winery, learn about the winemaking process and sample their wines.

    Leider wurden wir nicht vom Hotel abgeholt, obwohl wir pünktlich zur angegebenen Uhrzeit gewartet haben. Eine Auszeichnung zu einem anderen Termin war nicht möglich uns die bereits gezahlten 50€ wurden nicht zurück erstattet.

    En mycket prisvärd utflykt med en vacker bussresa till vingården och en bra genomförd vinprovning med 8 olika viner från gården. Liten förvirring där bussen släppte av bussen. Ingen vägledning vart vi skulle gå.

    Informationen om att bussresan skulle ta 30 minuter stämde ej! Den tog 1 tim 15min. Hade vi vetat det hade vi inte åkt. Väl på plats var det väldigt mycket folk (dubbelbokat?) så personalen var väldigt stressad. Största fokus var försäljning, Det hade varit intressant att få se lite av själva produktionen, hur det går till.
