This trip takes you from the trendy bars of Mykonos to the traditional island of Tinos. You'll sail from Mykonos for about 45 minutes and, once you've touched land on Tinos, it's on to a coach for a tour of the island.
Peppered with typical whitewashed buildings, and hills terraced with walls and walkways of marble and granite, Tinos looks every bit the Greece of old. You'll mimic the route of thousands of pilgrims who flock to the island's famous church each year. The grand, Renaissance-style building houses a holy icon of Mary, said to have miraculous healing powers.
You'll also catch sight of the rugged Exobourgo Mountain, before breaking for coffee in the village of Volax. This settlement is known for its basket weaving and there'll be a chance to pick up some of the townsfolk's wares.
